Cancelling Voy Mounjaro plan due to sickness and side effects

I wonder if anyone has any advice. I am on the second of a six month plan for mounjarro with Voy and have had terrible sickness and have generally felt awful for the last few weeks. I contacted them to ask to cancel and they have said I can't. I realise I signed up but thought if it was making me ill they would not insist on me carrying on. Has anyone been successful in getting them to drop the plan. Would it help if I got something in writing from my doctor as they actually prescribed me antisickness meds at one point.

What are the terms and conditions that they sent to you when you signed up? is there nothing at all about stopping the medication due to adverse effects?

Ok, so Voy's Terms of Sale are here:

https://www.joinvoy.com/weight-loss/terms-of-sale

The relevant part is here:

"4.13. Cancelling longer term subscriptions: If you are on a longer-term plan (such as three or six month plans), you may cancel your subscription at any time during the final month of your current plan period without incurring an early cancellation fee. If you wish to cancel earlier, you may do so pursuant to clause 4.13.1 below.

4.13.1. You may choose to cancel your longer term subscription early by paying an early cancellation fee (“Cancellation Fee”).

4.13.1.1. If you contact us to cancel early, we will explain how the Cancellation Fee and process works, and confirm the amount before processing your cancellation.

4.13.1.2. The Cancellation Fee reflects the value of the discount applied to your plan and our administrative costs.

4.13.1.3. It is clarified that should you choose to cancel your plan early, before the end of the current period, in accordance with this subclause, all Products and deliveries will be suspended with immediate effect.

4.14. We will confirm receipt of your cancellation notice in writing (by email or in-app message). Once confirmed, your subscription will terminate at the end of your current plan (unless cancelled early in accordance with

4.13.1. above), and no further charges will apply. All Product deliveries will continue as scheduled until your current plan expires."

So you can cancel early, they will then charge you a cancellation fee. Have they told you what that fee is?

But surely you were well aware of the possible side effects when you signed up?

TulipsDaffsAndSunshine · 24/03/2026 21:20

Can you take a half dose op? Might have less side effects…?

madcatters · 25/03/2026 20:43

What are you eating?

TeenLifeMum · 25/03/2026 20:44

No idea re voy but I’ve moved to wegovy due to mj side effects (and cost).

WappityWabbit · 25/03/2026 21:11

Did you move up from 2.5mg to 5mg after a month?

I’ve been on MJ for about 7 months and still only taking 3.5mg as the side effects are too much if I go higher.
