Easy exercise ideas to add alongside weight loss injections and walking

Did you exercise much before starting the jabs? I didn't - just moderate walking. Now I am thinking I need to add some exercise in. I'm upping my steps but am so unused to exercise so not really sure where to start.

Any tips for something not too hard to get stuck into? Preferably not too time consuming!

I’m about to start a simple weightlifting routine. You lose a lot of muscle on the jabs so I’m hoping it will prevent that, plus it will make maintenance easier as more muscle will mean a higher bmr.
I find the Joe Wicks 15min workouts on YouTube nice and easy to fit into my everyday routine. Anything too long and I find an excuse why I haven’t got time!

OP I started the jabs about a year ago and had what I hope was my last last week - going to try to maintain at BMI 22 after slow tapering down. A few weeks after my first jab I began with a walking pad, doing 30mins about 3 times a week. Then I started couch to 5k. I kept this going. In sept I introduced weights 3 times a week too. November I introduced a weekly swim. This month that swim has become twice a week and I’m starting with a PT at the gym tomorrow!

so if I said well I run three times a week, lift weights 3 times a week (plus walking on weight days), go to gym classes and swim 1-2 times a week, you would think I was some fitness nut with no idea about fat loss and all the complexities that comes with it. I’m trying to explain that I built it up. No one told me or suggested I do any of it. I just went with what felt good for me. And the more weight I lost the easier and more enjoyable exercise became. I never exercised before. Now it is my go to when I’m stressed or having a hard time. Old me wouldn’t recognise anything about me.

so just work with what works for you. Try not to put pressure on yourself but also well done for making lifestyle changes alongside the medication. I believe this is the best way to make lasting change

i started doing YouTube workouts.
Initially get fit with Rick, there’s a fair few ten minute ones and they don’t make you feel awful about yourself. As times gone on, I’ve been doing longer ones and now also like grow with Jo, Kat gates-bruettner and elenifit!

i just wanted to start doing SOMETHING to get me in the habit of regular exercise but found I quickly wanted to do more and more! It’s a real underrated joy to be able to see your stamina improving.
