Bit of a pickle

For various boring reasons I ended up with an excess of 10mg pens but am only injecting 7.5mg. I cancelled my Voy subscription because of this. However, how am I now going to get a 7.5mg pen as it’s been over 8 weeks since my last prescription - even though I’ve been injecting regularly!

any suggestions?

Try one of the maintenance friendly providers on the monj list (https://monj.co.uk/mounjaro-maintenance-pharmacies/) and explain that you have built up a cache of pens due to various delays in ordering. I think Oushk are quite flexible on that, also try Swift Doctor perhaps. There are others, hopefully other posters can recommend.

Thanks - I can obviously provide them with photos of the unopened pen so hopefully that might help.

BTW I didn’t end up with them due to stockpiling (before anyone judges) it was because I had to keep stopping for up to two weeks for medical (non related) purposes.

Oushk might be hit and miss now depending on which of their independent prescribers looks at your order. Hira said in latest live to allow them to prescribe to guidelines they need proof of previous prescribing label dates (not just pictures of unused pens) and if unexplained gaps (beyond 6 weeks) they will need to drop dose. They eluded to there being further tightening of guidelines in January, and they can’t be seen to be enabling/condoning off licence use.

Obviously give it go, but be aware if you call and ask, the answer you get might be a different decision to the one your randomly selected independent prescribers takes, and your money will tied up until they approve/reject.

Let us know how you get on if you do.
