It's getting expensive - can I switch providers to get a new deal?

I've been on Wegovy on Voy. But the price has gone up hugely as the doses have increased and yet I see other providers offering discounts. Technically, my BMI has now dropped to 29 so I might not be eligible with a new provider plus, I don't want to start on the low dose again? Is it possible to shop around? Do people do this?

Yes you can swap to whoever you want, just keep evidence of your previous prescription and providers will be happy to take your money, it's a faff though providing evidence of current weight/height via videos, every time but it saves money.
You won't have to start again and providers will keep supplying you until you reach their cut off, usually low 20s bmi.

@ReadingCrimeFiction you just need the box the pen came in, with the prescription sticker on it. That will have your name, the date, the medication and the dosage shown on it. You can just take a photo of that if asked for evidence of your previous prescription.

Have a look here for price comparison:

Try Bolt they are quite good , I can pm you my code for £40 off if it will help .

AshHeart · 26/02/2026 17:07

I've just switched (again). All I needed was a photo of my ID (passport or driving licence), a photo of the box with the dispensed prescription label clearly showing dose and my name, and a recording of me (full length) before stepping on the scales and showing my weight. Took less than ten minutes. My BMI is 23.

I have switched nearly every month! You don’t start again. As long as you’ve got a photo of your box with prescription sticker you’ll be fine. It’s worth doing to get all the savings.

I have switched a few times. I have a code for £50 off with pharmacy 2 u if you want to pm me.

morbidcuriosity · 27/02/2026 08:14

ReadingCrimeFiction · 27/02/2026 13:27

Oh, thank you all!! I am going to research and see if any of these codes help too!

@ReadingCrimeFiction you mentioned Juniper contacting you, I wouldn't be bothered with them either, they're a subscription model so you have to be arsed to cancel the subscription on top of everything else when you want to swap.
