Boots are now asking for photos

Hi all

Any experience of this? I'm at a healthy weight (having been on WLI for 2.5 years) and all of a sudden they've now asked for photos.

2 full length photos, 1 from the front, 1 from the side. Wearing tight clothing.

Is it a human or an app that assesses your weight I wonder?

Good. Most providers have been doing this for a long time.

I’ve never been with Boots, what were you asked for before? I’m surprised any provider does this without photos tbh.

Surprised that’s new to be honest, most providers have done it for a long time.

cloud for example have now moved to a system where you have to take live pics on their app, first moving your head to show you’re there, and then full length and side on. So you can’t manipulate the images.

It’s a total ballache as you need another person or to be very good with your timer, for the side on, I had to get my husband to take mine and it took several attempts to do the side ones as it kept saying move your arms straight out etc, even though they were as straight out as it comes.

I started with them a year ago, they wanted photos then and asked for another two more recently when I was approaching goal. I just took them myself in a full-length mirror.
The messages are always from a named doctor but I couldn’t tell you how the photos are assessed. It all seems fairly straightforward.

Many pharmacies want new photos every 3 months, especially if you are in maintenance, BMi under 20, they have to ensure you aren’t drifting into too thin territory.
