Which needle and syringe for golden dose?

I've been taking Mounjaro for over a year but never extracted the bonus dose. I moved up doses very slowly so the cost was relatively low for a long time, however, it's been such a big price jump from 5mg to 7.5mg that I now want to get the extra while I can (before all the pens change!). Could anyone tell me how you do it? I'm aware I should buy the needles from a pharmacy and not Amazon, but if anyone can recommend what they use I would appreciate it.

You can buy fixed-needle 1ml syringes, in 4, 6 or 8mm length, gauge 30g or 32g. 4 to 8mm length is classed as a subcutaneous length needle.

can I ask for some help. I have done golden dose with a 2.5mg pen but now I have a 5mg pen and I take half a dose so 30 clicks. When it comes to the golden dose I have a 1ml insulin needle/syringe. What should my dose be ? If I want 2.5mg from my 5mg pen golden dose. Is it 30 ?

A full dose from any strength pen is always 0.6ml. So for your 5mg pen @Kernowmaidporth a full 5mg dose would be 0.6ml or 60 clicks using the pen. To get a 2.5mg dose from the pen you would therefore need half of that, so 0.3ml in a syringe or 30 clicks.
