Hi there. I am ready to get going with an injection treatment, but with a BMI of only (!!!) 28, from what I have read my GP in Ireland won't prescribe. What are my options? I was looking at webdoctor.ie - is this a good route? Will they likely prescribe it for this BMI? They can prescribe wegovy, which I would be happy with, but costs aren't clear. I know its going to be expensive, but I was hoping to get an idea of cost per month before I pay for the consultation. Also, is it difficult to actually get? I presume it is sent to a pharmacy, where I collect and pay for it - is that how it works?

Also, I previously was on xenical tablets a few years ago through Lloyds online pharmacy but as soon as I lost some weight, my bmi was deemed too low to continue prescribing, despite still very much being in the overweight category. I presume the same wont happen with wegovy or whichever injection I am prescribed?
