Cons to my weight loss

I've been on MJ for 5 months & I've lost just over 3st so far. I'm round of myself & I know I need to up the exercise to help maintain the changes I've made and tone up. But, I miss my boobs! They were never amazing, but I could get a decent cleavage & filled out my 38D bras well but now, they feel so saggy & not like mine. I'm going to look up exercises to help tone up the area, but it just feels sad that I still have this tummy (albeit a smaller one) and I've had to lose breast volume, & my bum too!
First world problems, I know!

I lost my tummy and bum but my boobs only reduced from 34GG to 32G, despite losing over five stone last year!

Everyone loses weight differently and I know my proportions are very different to the last time I was this weight.

I focus on the massive health benefits. Well done on losing three stone. You must feel great!

ShawnaMacallister · 01/01/2026 06:06

Yeah I lost all the volume in my boobs too. I expected it as I never had big boobs and they only had volume because I got fat, but it's still a loss!
I do exercise though so haven't lost my bum too badly. Rather than tone your chest (not really possible, or rather not likely to change appearance of your boobs much) if you focus on legs and bum with squats, lunges, hip thrusts etc you'll have a better looking bottom half.

I've lost my boobs but I love it! I hated having enormous boobs, at one stage I wanted them removed I hated how big they were. Now I have teeny tiny boobs which means teeny tiny bras and I love it so much.

PearlTeapot · 01/01/2026 13:02

My boobs are gone too! A whole body to choose from full of fat and it choose my boobs to take which there wasn't much of in the first place.

HeidiLite · 01/01/2026 21:16

yes same, but there are so many positives having smaller boobs. I can finally wear normal clothes, without needing to buy 2 sizes bigger tops due to boobs. Can wear any kinds of necklines, anything higher was a no no before. Sports - how much easier it is when I can just wear a random high street sports bra or even built in bra top, and don't need industrial strenght boulder holders?
If I want to look bustier, can always get a padded push up.

Weights !

eleanorwish · 01/01/2026 23:06

My boobs are shrinking, problem is, they still hang low, they’ve just lost volume!

Marylou2 · 01/01/2026 23:13

Bloody weight , it never goes from where you want it to. 6 stone down and at my goal and boobs are still there but in my case no bum. Lifting weights like a crazy woman to maintain some shape. I'm being grateful that at 57 I've escaped the worst of loose skin.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 01/01/2026 23:26

Same. I lost 5st and went from a 38GG to a 30F. There’s just no volume at all and they look so sad and saggy, whereas before I had great boobs with no sagginess.
My arse isn’t great either and I have saggy thighs. My huge calf muscles disappeared too.

it’s worth it to not be obese any more. I still don’t feel like myself though.

Start lifting weights and it will all tighten up!

It's so frustrating when the weight goes from the wrong places. I've lost 14 stone in the last 5 years and I'm still miffed that the first things I had to replace were my shoes! My fat, wide feet shrunk and none of my gorgeous shoe collection (I lived in black/navy outfits and fun shoes became my thing over the years) fitted any longer.

Well worth it long term for the health benefits but I do huff about it sometimes!

SilenceInside · 02/01/2026 14:51

@AyeKarumba I would love to understand how weight lifting can tighten loose skin? What's the process that happens to your skin elasticity and collagen as a result of building muscles?

LaurieFairyCake · 02/01/2026 14:55

My boobs were last to go Grin It was only when I got to a size 6 did my tits go, fuck this we’re the last standing, off we tot.

A size 34 J or K to a size 28 E

SilenceInside · 02/01/2026 16:40

@AyeKarumba is that all from an AI??

AyeKarumba · 02/01/2026 16:54

@SilenceInsideyou can either sit here arguing with me or get down the gym & see for yourself!

I have lost 2st so far and no flabby bits - my double chin has vanished… have been working out for the past year / WLIs since Oct. The more I gym, the better I feel.

Honestly just give it a go. Start with a PT to build your confidence. Stops all the aches and pains of perimenopause too, if you’re middle aged like me.
Good luck! 🏋🏻‍♀️💪🏼

SilenceInside · 02/01/2026 17:02

I’m not arguing with you. I don’t see how what you posted addressed my question about how building muscle affects loose skin’s elasticity and
collagen. Nothing in your previous post addressed that.

ChinFluff · 02/01/2026 17:03

I've not done WLI but at one point I was BMI just under 23 through weight lifting and had no boobs.

However a proper bra fitting does wonders and recreates cleavage - have a look at something like Bella Rosa lingerie and treat yourself to some good bras. I used them and went from like 34B to 30AA but much more lifted. Makes a huge difference.

In terms of bum, that was the hardest think for me to get back, it's to do with glute muscles. I had to do six months of squats and hip thrusts in the gym and intentionally eat more, I gained glute muscles back in return and a more shapely derriere.

I feel like there needs to be a transition programme going from finishing Mounjaro into weight lifting, as it's the best thing ever. The bang for your buck is incredible as it literally cinches you in at the sides from the muscle tone.

It totally changed my mindset about nutrition, food as fuel, what body weight is, composition etc.

HurdyGurdy19 · 02/01/2026 17:12

This is one of my biggest worries whilst I'm losing weight. I have never had nice boobs - always a bit droopy and shapeless so I don't want them to be any saggier. Smaller, yes. But not saggier.

I have resigned myself to (hopefully) having surgery to improve them, once I reach target (or near enough) weight. Along with a tummy tuck, as I'm pretty sure I'll end up with saggy skin around there as well. So I'm saving like mad now.
