A Mounjaro group on Facebook was a praising a woman for selling " real" Mounjaro pens cheaper than other suppliers.
Because l clicked on the thread this woman messaged me..( Sophie) asking if l was interested in purchasing .. sent me a photo ( looked genuine) and a price list which was on average £30 to £50 cheaper than other suppliers.
I asked if she was allowed to supply and what did she need to know... if she was legally authorised. Her profile said she was a pharmacist/ Nutritionist. .. and she only needed my name and address.🤷‍♀️
She sent me a photo to show she was a qualified dietician with her personal ID. It was an HCPC register and she was under dietician..
I did a further search and she wasn't legally qualified to supply Mounjaro or any prescriptions.
I questioned her on this... and sent her the information to say she wasn't qualified and she was doing it illegally.
She then blocked me. So l filled in the form on line to report her to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency .
I had enough information.
I got a letter confirming they had received it and said they might be in touch to ask me for any more information.
Now people on the group are asking where Sophie has gone etc.. that the Mounjaro was genuine.. and they hope she's OK etc...that it was her living and hope no one as reported her.

If she wasn't doing anything wrong, she has nothing to be worried about. You don't make a living by doing the wrong thing. I don't know why you're stressing...

SilenceInside · 29/12/2025 18:54

Of course you were right to report her. Thank you for doing so.

MrsMiagi · 29/12/2025 18:57

Yes you were right. I knew a woman who died after taking 'MJ' from a non legitimate source. Report report report

GreywackeJ · 29/12/2025 18:57

Good for you. Who knows what she’s selling people. It’s regulated for a reason. A woman buying WLI cheap from a beauty salon died earlier this year.

WeAllHaveWings · 29/12/2025 19:36

Doesn't matter even IF it was genuine Mounjaro. If she was neither registered to prescribe or asking patients the right questions to prescribe safely, she and others like her need reporting.

Stupid, reckless and greedy. Hopefully the MHRA will deal with her appropriately.

Which facebook group was it?

828Pax · 29/12/2025 19:42

You were completely right to do that!

Kazzaa46 · 29/12/2025 20:12

You were right to report her.
If she’s qualified to purchase and prescribe MJ then she will be fine.
But if she isn’t, it begs the question how she’s purchasing it and whether it’s genuine which could be putting people at risk.

kiwiane · 29/12/2025 20:17

Well done for reporting her; there was a massive counterfeit batch seized in Northampton a few months ago - if she’s not making the proper checks on patients then it’s possible she’s not verified her supply either.

ChocHotolate · 29/12/2025 21:16

Absolutely. You could also report her to the HCPC (health care professions council) who register and regulate dieticians (among other professions). They would take a very dim view of this

arcticpandas · 29/12/2025 21:26

Well done. Even if she was selling the real stuff she wasn't licensed and she was selling to anyone without discrimination meaning people with low bmi/ED/who are at risk for averse reactions. She ought to be prosecuted for putting people's lives at risk.

L4ura171986 · 29/12/2025 21:51

I’m registered with the HCPC and please please please report this to them too. Just send them the exact same information that you’ve sent already.

PuzzlingRecluse · 29/12/2025 21:55

you definitely did the right thing.

please please also report to the hcpc they regulate Dietitians and would I’m sure be interested in this

ZenLikeAlways · 30/12/2025 16:15

You definitely did the right thing op 👍🙏

SalaDaeng · 30/12/2025 16:23

This is a drug that people inject into their bodies. I just don't understand why anyone would take any risks. Of course it is worrying if it is cheap!

Skybluepinky · 30/12/2025 19:11

Of course you did the right thing, loads on TikTok were doing the same, some still are but they also sell loads of TikTok shop stuff so they don’t seem to get removed, but a few were selling mix your own stuff.
