I am considering changing from Mounjaro to Wegovy - I feel like I am probably where I want to be for a maintenance weight now and don't think I will lose anymore without going up doses which I don't want to do (probably have one stone left to lose, but relatively happy with the way I look now having lost 3.5 stone). I have been on 5mg for a while now (probably about 8/9 months).

I wondered about switching to Wegovy due to the cost of Mounjaro. One thing I have had with Mounjaro is my hair has gone very thin. I was starting to have issues with this (probably was struggling a bit anyway due to peri-menopause/PCOS). Has anyone else who has suffered with hairloss moved to Wegovy and found the shedding any better?

Exactly this. I switched just over a month ago from 10mg to 1.7mg due to having 11+ months significant hair loss (3-4 times compared to pre-mj), started after around 3 months on mj and it was daily regardless of calories, even when I'd eaten at maintenance for 2 weeks, also still had nausea after dropping from 15mg to 7.5mg, zero energy from day 1 and no motivation as well as low mood.
From week 2 hair shedding reduced to half, 3-4 weeks later its back to pre mj levels, I'm so happy that it's stopped shedding so much, I don't have to hoover my carpet as much and don't have hair all over the back of my clothes but the suppression has been high on 1.7mg so I've still been on low calories 800-1000 a day all month and still lost 3lbs in a month at 9st 0.5lbs bmi 22.7 so it's not an increase in cals or change in diet thats stopped hair loss, I've always had collagen, biotin, vitamins and high protein diet for well a year or so, was on mj 14.5 months altogether. My nausea and low energy and motivation has also gone, in fact I've started an exercise routine, which I wanted to do for well over 6 months but was like a zombie laying about around 3-4 days after jab day on mj, I've also been doing more house work etc.
I also had a haircut on Friday and my hairdresser said my hair looks thicker than last time I visited her 2.5 months ago, so that says it all really.
All you could do is give it a try but I am recommending it to everyone. My friend switched from 10mg and had 3-4 month stall on mj and has been losing now on wegovy, she said she is a lot happier, feels warmer and has better mental health too.
