Was with medexpress before, will need to start back from the lowest dose so was wondering if anywhere is cheaper?

Monj.co.uk and sort by 2.5mg. Loads are cheaper than MedExpress especially with new customer discount. I have used Chemist4u, Swift doctor, pharmacy2u and we prescribe with no issues and good deals.

SilenceInside · 20/12/2025 16:32

Agree with the above advice. Currently using Swift who are always at the cheaper end without needing new customer discounts. They have been great so far and as quick as their name suggests.

I check on monj for latest prices. I’ve used IQ doctor, Bolt and My London Pharmacy. Not had any issues with any of them, I just shop around for lowest price.

I guess it’s not ok to share codes.

No it’s against site rules, mumsnet removed the separate board they previously had for these to avoid these threads getting spammed, and also usually against your prescriber’s rules (only for friends and family unless you are an official affiliate).

Thanks. Appreciate your reply. MN sent me a link to the rules which contained no mention of it.

You are right @KilliMonjarothere did used to be dedicated boards/threads for the code sharing - it would have been helpful if mumsnet had pinned a thread explaining in the WLI board instead of those all just disappearing and then people having to ask. This is Hebemumsnet’s explanation from the thread i shared above:

“Yes, we have closed the Weight loss promo codes board to new posts, following updated guidance from the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) which makes it clear that it’s against regulations to share affiliate or discount codes online alongside pricing information and medication names.
Because of this, we’re no longer able to allow these codes to be shared on Mumsnet. We know this will be disappointing for some posters, so we appreciate your understanding.”

the whole system has been corrupt from early days - no other prescription medication has ever been promoted this way at this scale. Thinking back to pre-April there were people managed to stockpile literally 10s of free pens just from the credit of aggressively sharing their codes on social media. Companies could have limited the number of referrals but didn’t as the free advertising and exponential growth was a bargain to them compared to paid advertising.

I totally understand why individuals like you still post on here genuinely as it’s so bloody expensive and we want to help newbies but regulars always report them to keep the boards from becoming a nightmare of spam - it’s nothing personal. I recommend newbies ask anyone in real life they know taking it for a code - most of us will have used one of the places that has them at some point and still have one active.

Simple online pharmacy are fantastic. I ordered a pen on Friday 5pm was sent sat am and I'm now expecting it today. The only time I had to wait longer then a few days was back in August

TidyDancer · 21/12/2025 09:28

I use Medicine Marketplace, they are one of the cheaper ones and I’ve stuck with them for about 6 months now (been on Mounjaro for about 16 months in total). They were also fantastic with doing live Q&As on TikTok during the price inflation fiasco which was super helpful so they have my loyalty for that reason too.
