Anyone switched from mounjaro to wegovy?

Hi,

I was on mounjaro, lost 3 stone. Stopped due to price increase. Struggling to maintain.

Has anyone switched from mounjaro to wegovy? Hows it been? You losing better/worse/the same?

Just wondering if I should try it or go back on mounjaro.

Commenting because I’m also considering it and want to know the answer. I’ve been on MJ for 18 months and lost really well, but it’s £300 a month at the moment and just to much money

Same. Wish I'd just stuck with it till goal. Not put loads on but the weights like on /off on/off. Cant lose anymore

I'm on mounjaro and don't want to switch as all I've heard is negative things about wegovy not being as good as mounjaro so I'm sucking up the cost for now.

What dose are you on @NameChangedTimesTen for £300? I'm paying £256 for 12.5mg. do you know about the "monj" comparison site?

I was on Mounjaro but as you’ve said, the price hike is too much. I’ve had to stop as I’m having surgery but I have Wegovy in the fridge when I can start back in 2 weeks. I’ll have to see how it goes

I switched from 10mg to 1.7mg and I regret not switching sooner. On mj I had a background nausea, poor sleep with nightmares, very low mood and energy, significant hair loss, felt like a zombie just wanting to lay around for 3 days after my jab, no motivation and felt cold all the time...every single one of these side effects have vanished. My mood and emergy has dramatically improved and my hair loss has stopped and im back to pre mj levels yet im still on low cals and losing weight. I've also lost 3lbs in 4 weeks and I'm now 9st 0.5lbs bmi 22.7 and smashed my 4st loss goal yesterday on my birthday. I had stalled for a month on mj, my first stall in 14 months. Suppression and satiety is much stronger and zero food noise or sugar cravings, my tummy is less bloated than on mj. Zero side effects, I'm so happy. I have 2 friends who have switched, one from 15mg to 1.7 which she said was ok, then to 2.4mg which has given her strong suppression. Another has gone from 10mg to 1mg which she said she was constantly hungry on, she doesn't calorie count and hasn't changed her carb heavy diet, she then moved up to 1.7mg and in 2 weeks is losing weight again. This is after saying mj made her so sick and nauseous it put her off eating but she us eating more on wegovy yet she had a 3-4 month stall on mj and has yet to hit her 2 stone loss in 14 months. I do high protein low carb which I recommend as I've gone from prediabetic, high cholesterol and blood pressure to normal everything.

Also forgot to add both my friends say their mental health suffered on mj but has improved on wegovy and they have more energy. I would never go back as I feel a cloud lifted when I came off mj. Wish I hadn't suffered for over a year. My sleep has gone from 4-5 hours a night to 6-7.5 easily.
