Has anyone noticed visible/thread veins appearing suddenly after weight loss meds?

I injected in my right thigh on a Wednesday night a couple of weeks ago. I woke up on Saturday morning with loads of thread veins/blue dilated veins in my ankle and foot on that leg that haven’t gone away. Just now made a connection that I took the jab very shortly before and that it was in the same leg. I suspect and hope it’s a coincidence but just wanted to see if anyone had noticed anything similar. Thank you!

I have similar on my ankle, a cluster about the size of a 20p, but they appeared long before I started Mounjaro.

Yes it’s only on one leg but over a much wider area than 20p, more like a £50 note! . I actually think it’s possibly superficial thrombophlebitis having spoken to a doctor acquaintance . Caused by a mini blood clot in a superficial vein. I believe there’s a potential blood clot risk with Semaglutide although there seems to be conflicting evidence from studies having googled. So could be, or could be absolutely nothing to do with it.

It’s uncomfortable and a bit swollen so am a bit concerned about possible chronic venous insufficiency. So have been referred for a scan of the veins to see what’s going on.
