Unexpected weight loss after a plateau /titrating down

Ok so it's not completely unexpected as I'm still on MJ but wondering if anyone has experienced similar.
First dose 2nd Jan, lost just under 5 stone between then and end Aug. I'm still overweight but given my age, and the fact that I was never 'thin' even as a child, I decided that was enough and started to titrate down and up my calories to maintain. I'm now on 4mg every 10 days, can maintain a healthy diet most days, occasionally overdo it.
However, absolutely out of the blue, I've lost another 8lbs in 2.5 weeks. It's too fast for me. If anything, my worry would have been that I might have put on as definitely having a few more Christmas treats than I should (within an overall healthy diet).

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Yes, lost 6 stone and titrated down to 5mg. Maintained for a few months. Randomly lost 3lb this week which I don’t want to as I’m definitely at the lowest possible weight I want to be.

Weird isn’t it.. I’m not on jabs but have lost weight by having a binge day after a plateau! Sometimes our bodies need a higher influx of calories to shock it and then when we get back on healthy eating then it reacts positively

I had weeks and weeks of losing 1/2lb per week. I decided I wad at goal, stopped counting calories, started eating a bit more and suddenly lost 2lbs a week for a month.

I have a friend who got to goal came off MJ and then carried on losing. Its weird how this does different things for different people. Are you a healthy BMI if so I would keep a track over Christmas but its probably a positive reaction to your plateau and will then settle again.

If you’re not at a healthy BMI yet, perhaps your body is willing to keep losing until you get there. I’ve also carried on losing a few extra kilos.

My initial (stretch!) goal was BMI 25, then I lost a bit more and felt even better so went to 24, now am aiming to maintain above 23 but under 24. I’m eating healthily and exercising, so I’ll see where that all lands in terms of weight and body composition after a year or so.

On the other hand, truly unexplained weight loss does need investigating.

Yes, this is me right now. I was stuck in the 69s for what felt like forever, a good 5-6 weeks if not more. Things started moving again 2 weeks ago and tonight I have just weighed in at 66.85!! I nearly fell off my scales in shock!

I also started titrating down 2 weeks ago, simply because I had a random amount left at the end of a pen and it was slightly less than the dose I had been taking. As things are moving again I have just stayed at that dose. BMI is now 25.2 so super close now
