Mounjaro to Wegovy

I have been taking the injections since March 2024.

Start : 20 stone 8
Current: 14 stone 12

I got as far as 14 stone 6. I had a first round where I lost over 3 stone and went up to 10mg and then I stopped for two months and put back on a stone. I then went back on and lost the rest, only went as high as 5mg with Mounjaro but couldn't afford it anymore so switched to Wegovy but it's just not cutting it anymore. I'm on 0.5mg but don't like going too high and I don't have that same reduction of food noise. Has anyone else switched and had success? Think I'm going to have to go up again but I have had worst side effects on higher doses. I've been with Voy the whole time which has been alright. Though now the referral systems are being stopped from being shared anywhere I'm not sure I can afford it much longer.

I'm not taking Wegovy, but i just had a look at the iGovy price comparison site, and Voy are crazy expensive. There are so many suppliers that are lots cheaper, for 0.5mg or for 1mg. MedicineMarketplace for example has both 0.5mg and 1mg for £98.99. Voy are charging £169 and £189 respectively!

I switched on Friday from 10mg to 1.7mg amd have very good strong suppression, it's lasted all week so far and been more stable amd stronger than mounjaro. I have better energy levels and moods too. 0.5mg is far too low based on lots of feedback/reviews from other switchers. I would say 1mg is similar to 5-7.5mg, definity go up and see how it goes.
