I’m not bothered to be honest, so no longer drink at home, where I used to drink about two bottles a week on average, weekend sort of thing or a couple of glasses after a hard day.
i can drink when I go out, and happy to have a few, even up to a bottle of wine for example over the course of a long evening, but I also know when to stop and when I’ve had enough.
I don’t get hangovers like I used to though. Used to be even one glass of wine disrupted my sleep, I’m in my fifties, now I can drink a whole bottle, I sleep soundly and I’ve no hangover. It is very odd.
i think it is two things, I think i am fully hydrated, and the reduction in alcohol over the last 18 months on the drug has repaired my liver fully, as the drug is now being looked at as it does help the liver.
i read an article that it has an anti ageing effect, not on your skin, but on your cells, your organs, as it removes inflammation, which allows cells to regenerate.
whatever it is, I can if I chose drink like I did in my twenties and be fine. Simply the drug makes me say that’s enough.
youre very early on your journey, so I think the likely hood is if you don’t have enough food in your tummy and aren’t fully hydrated yes you could be unwell. I’d recommend you make sure you eat fully and drink water as you go.
