Providers who don’t inform GP?

I’m currently with Voy but their prices are becoming prohibitive, so can anyone recommend an alternative pharmacy who doesn’t inform your GP? Also one that doesn’t require an initial video call? I’m ok sending photos but my anxiety and other issues are too much for face to face situations. TIA.

I clicked on the “cancel” button for Voy and they immediately offered me £50 off my next two pens!

Cloud pharmacy doesn’t tell your GP. Personally I think it’s important that you tell them because MJ can affect other medications but that’s up to you.

@HollyhockDays I’ve been chatting with a supervisor and initially she was adamant there were no discounts available (despite always getting discounts in the past). When I eventually acquiesced she suddenly offered me £50 off my next two orders 🤷‍♀️ I still think Voy are quite expensive though.

@xanthomelana what evidence do they initially require to prove your BMI/identity? I don’t take any other medications, and I have personal reasons for not wanting to inform my GP.

When i joined WePrescribe they wanted a dated picture on scales and full length photos. I also had to upload ID. They have never told my GP but there is a letter i can download. DM me if you would like a referral code for discount. The prices are reasonable.

Id and full body pictures. Holding a piece of paper with the date on.

I do think it’s important that it’s on your medical records in case of emergency.

I'm with Asda online pharmacy and I'm certain that they have not informed my GP. They recommend that you tell them, but there's nothing saying that they will. My GP is rather anti weight loss injections. I've spoken to him twice since starting the injections and he has not mentioned it,I'm pretty sure that he would have done if he had been informed! Also, subscribing with them does not require a video call (at least it didn't when I started with them a month ago). I just had to submit several photos of myself (wearing minimal clothing,e.g. just a T-shirt and leggings),from the front and sideways on.

I've been on Mounjaro 13 weeks and have used 3 different pharmacies so far (Ashcroft, IQ Doctor) and the most recent Pharmacy2U.
My GP record doesn't show any letter received from any of the pharmacies.

I’m with pharmacy2u and my nhs app shows they’ve sent a letter every single month even when it’s the same dose! Was getting a bit annoyed with the notifications as the letter gets uploaded each month, the gp and pharmacists have documented no contraindication and it’s added to other medications on my prescriptions for reference so they definitely do. If you google health hero you’ll see they’re connected to pharmacy2u and the ones sending the letter every month to your gp

Just checked and can see both IQ Doctor and Pharmacy2U did send an email / letter to my GP. But Ashcroft the 1st Pharmacy I used haven't sent anything

You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to, but I’m really interested in why anyone wouldn’t want their GP to know. I’m glad mine does as it could be relevant to other medications or medical conditions.

All the ones who offer support would leave the gp informing an optional thing, so it'll be totally up to you, like Numan, Voy, Juniper and Cuvahealth too.

Check monj . Co . Uk, you'll find a whole section for providers who offer assisted service or support, and discount links or codes for them too.
