Weight loss has slowed down this month

I’ve been on MJ for 6 months and have lost (on average) 1.3lbs per week - total
loss so far of 2 stone, 5lbs. I’m very happy with that and I feel so much better. I still have another 3 stone to go but weight loss over last 3 weeks has been 0.5lbs per week.
Nothing has changed, still in a calorie deficit (max 1100 cals a day), at least 2l of water a day and my meals are usually focused around protein.

I know a loss is still a loss but I’d like a bit more than 1/2lb a week especially as there’s a good chunk of flab still to go. Has anyone else had these chuggy/slow months? Is there a way to kickstart your body back into slightly higher steady losses? I’m on 7.5mg and don’t want to go up as I have quite high suppression and some days do feel a bit nauseous so any more might be too much.

If this is just a normal blip in a WLI journey and I just have to see it through, then fair enough but I am a bit impatient!

You just have to consume less I’m afraid, if you’re losing half a pound a week then you’re likely 250 cals a day below maintenance, so I’d assume your cal count averaged over a week is significantly off I’m afraid.

Do you do any regular exercise? If so increase it, if not start. I’ve also been on them for 6mths, easier to lose more at the start but definitely slowed down. As you get lighter you also need to reduce your calorie intake further.

You have lost over 2 stone, which means you need to re-calculate your daily calorie intake as well and like poster before me said, include exercise or increase it

Are you very sendentary or very short? I see you say you’ve still some weight to lose, if you eat 1100 a day and lose half a pound a a week, it would mean your tdee is 1350, which is incredibly low. However it is feasible ie if you are very short and/or bed/seat bound.

if this doesn’t apply then you’d be underestimating your consumption over a week then averaged per day,

we can try to help you work it out, if you post more data, weight, height and activity levels.

Yes, I’m very short - 5ft 1. I track my calories religiously so I don’t think I’ve been overeating. The good news is, I just weighed tonight and it looks like I’ve lost 1.4lbs this week so rather than too much food, suspect it was just one of those inexplicable stalls. At least I hope so. I definitely need to build more exercise into my routine though. I move a lot during the day but never do any set exercise so I’m going to think about how to best tackle that.
