How to dispose monjaro needle on holiday?

Hi! I go away soon and obviously am taking my monjaro with me. How is everyone disposing of their needles after using them when away? Obviously don’t want to just throw it in the bin and give someone a sharps injury but equally am I meant to take a full sharps box with me? 🤷🏻‍♀️do I just put it in a Tupperware in my case to come back home? what has everyone else done please?
TIA 😊

You can get mini sharps boxes for travelling.

I would just wrap it tightly in tissue in my toiletries bag or even in a ziplock bag in there and then dispose of at home.

Just come back from holiday myself. I stuffed the used swab into the open end of the needle and put the whole thing into the empty swab wrapper, screwed it up tightly and put it into one of the pockets of the insulated case I had for the pen. Then I just put the used needles into my own sharps bin when I got home.

Thank you all! A mini sharps box sounds interesting, we actually leave tomorrow so it’s too late to order but there’s some good ideas here 😊

I wrapped mine (only needed one) right in tissue, then in a small plastic bag and kept it in my wash bag.

i had hold luggage so no issues in the airport

I've got a travel sharps bin now but I used to use an old glasses case and just pop them in there until I got home. Wrapping them in tissues and putting in the pocket of a case works too. Anything which protects them until you can put them in a sharps bin at home.

A small tupperware container. It's safe from accidental spiking and also obvious what's in it. Then when you get home just empty into your sharps bin.

Just put the cap back on, wrap it in tissue and put it in your bag.
