Redness and puffiness on Injection site

Just wondering if anyone can help- I'm
On 15mg of Mounjaro, so I have been on it for over ten months. The last three weeks, I have seen no loss, and I seem to have stalled, which I understand is quite normal. My bigger question today is that I have noticed redness on the injection site (tummy) and slight puffiness/swelling on the last two occasions of administering the injection, which lasts a few days and itches if I happen to touch the area.
I'm just wondering if there is a connection between the redness and the lack of absorption of the medication. Am I suddenly doing something wrong? My loss has been slow and steady.
Any advice would be appreciated...

Have you changed supplier and possibly needle brand? That’s what started my reactions, switched back to original needles and all ok. Believe it was something to do with different lubricants on needle brands.

Actually, yes, was previously with Voy and switched to Oushk..

I had the same problem with Oushk BD Viva needles (tried their 4mm and 6mm), then bought a box of 6mm Novofine that my previous supplier (ZAVA) used and no problems since.

BD Viva use their own proprietary lubricant where Novofine use baked on silicon. If you know the brand of needle Voy uses you can buy a box.

I get this all the time with all brands. I take an antihistamine the day of and after injecting and that helps quite a lot

Me too! And I am with Oushk.
Its like an insect bite and lasts for 3 or 4 days!

You are not bad with 3-4 days mine were insanely itchy for 1-2 weeks and I could see 2-3 weeks of blotches at time at various stages of redness! It was handy for seeing where my last injection was to space them out around my stomach! 🤣. I had a couple of spare ZAVA/Novofine needles and straight away no problems with them.
