Maintain on mounjaro - where to buy

I came off mounjaro cold turkey about 2 months ago after losing 6 stones. The food noise has came flooding back. I’m feeling completely out of control and scared to put the weight back on. I went to order a maintenance dose with my provider and I’ve been told no. My BMI is too low. I spoke to the provider (Oxford Pharmacy) and they said they wouldn’t provide a maintenance dose as it’s been too long size my last order (start of July) and they won’t support my continued weight loss. I told the pharmacist
it was for maintenance only but they wouldn’t prescribe. They said it had to be within 6 weeks of the last prescription. I must be at 8 weeks now.

I’m at a loss as to where to go now.

Does anyone know of any provider who will provide a maintenance dose of mounjaro regardless of when I stopped the medicine? Feels crazy to say they don’t support it now but they would have done 2 weeks ago which apparently was within their cut off. Nothing has changed in the last two weeks.

Hoping someone can help. I’m open to Wegovy too!

Had you sorted a maintenance plan with your provider prior to coming off it?
Not sure, haven’t had a maintenance call myself, I was due to have one at the end of August but thanks to all the madness surrounding the orders I never managed to get an order in in time. Wanted to wait until I had been able to actually get another one before I had my maintenance call so not really sure how it works but from the sounds of it I think what’s happened to you is what happens if you don’t stay ‘on the books’ as it were.

No it was never my intention to go to a maintenance dose. I only came to that decision now following two weeks of pain, or would have stayed on books.

I came off in March. Booked a call with oushk in May as like you, started putting weight back on as food noise back with a vengeance. Happy to take me on starting on 2.5mg and now maintaining on 5mg. Give them a call! I just had to provide proof of my orders from Oct-March and sent in my before and after pics.

Swift Dr and WePrescribe would probably take you on with proof of previous prescriptions
