Same Dose of Mounjaro after a break

Hello All,
I need some advise. Been on Mounjaro 5 weeks with very few side effects but this weekend I started experiencing really bad cramping, so I never took my 5mg dose on Monday. I’ve been to my pharmacist who’s my Mounjaro provider and they’ve said I can stop taking for a couple of weeks and let my stomach settle as I said I wasn’t comfortable taking another dose while I was experiencing this discomfort. She said it was fine to be off it up to 3 weeks and then resume the 5mg again without having to go back down to 2.5mg.
Has anyone does this? Been off 2/3 weeks then resumed the dose you were on? I’m going away for a week this weekend so that would be 3 weeks off if I’m not feeling up to taking it by the end of this week.

The official recommendation is if you’ve had more than 2 weeks off to restart at 2.5mg. As it’s like starting again.

do you feel the stomach cramps were related to the MJ is that why you stopped it?

if so I would 100% start again at 2.5mg or lower to be on the safe side.

In fact I think I would do that anyway even if just do it for 2 weeks instead of 4.

I'd go back to half doses. 2.5 from the 5mg pen. There is no need to rush up the doses. Many never progress beyond 5 and get steady loss on 2.5

I would go back down, it sounds as if the issue started when you moved up (5 weeks much be 4x2.5mg and 1x5mg)?
