Using 5mg pen to give 15mg

I have a 5mg pen that I got a while ago and never used as I went up to 7.5mg. I’ve kept it in the fridge unopened. It’s due to expire at the end of this month.
I’m now on 15mg. Before I start my next 15mg pen I’m considering using the 5mg pen and giving myself 3 doses of it as I’d rather use some of it up before it goes out of date. Does this sound ok?

Sounds absolutely fine to me, and I would do the same thing.
If you are happy to use the 5th/golden dose, you could get another 10+mg out for the following week.

In your shoes I would used that pen for 2x 12.5mg doses as using a whole pen for just one dose seems such a waste. 2 isn’t quite so bad.

it’s a 5mg so there is enough in there for 5x5 25mg - so 2x12.5. You would have to force the pen or use a syringe for the last bit of the second dose. With syringes you need to take 1.5ml for each dose ( or using pen 150 clicks for first dose and all of the rest by any means for second) you would likely get a bit more than 12.5 from the second dose but that’s ok as you are planning to step to 15 anyway

*edited as i misread - you are already on 15 but I would still use it the way I described then go back to 15mg for next pen.
