Anyone know how long mounjaro lasts in packaging?

I ordered my next dose of mounjaro from e-surgery the other day, not thinking it wouldn’t come for about 5 days, but I’ve got an email from Royal Mail saying it’s coming today by 1pm and needs a signature. Problem is I’m going to be out all day and no one’s going to be home. I have options to change the delivery day or pick up from the delivery office but I’m worried it won’t last for days in its chilled packaging. Does anyone know anything about this?

They will probably redeliver tomorrow, can you redeliver to a neighbour if you won't be in? It's usually 72hrs from when they posted it.

You would have to look on their website. Some suppliers I’ve used say 48hrs & others 72hrs. Can you use the pen straight away?

There's an Ely Lilly tool on one of their webpages that allows you to enter how many days it hasn't been in cold storage for. I played about with it a bit and under typical temps for a few days it always said the lifespan wouldn't be affected. Worth having a try with it to reassure yourself, but unfortunately I can't find the link now!

I tried 3 days at 25C, for example and it says it was fine to dispense. Obviously it is not exposed to light. In other words, the expiry date of the unopened pen is unaffected, as is the 30 day usage when opened.
That should cover any postal delay I would have thought. You should try the tool yourself though and make sure you are personally happy

Is there a drop and collect point near you? Normally the same places that do Yodel and InPost. You can get it redirected and pick it up when you get home. I only discovered this this month. My nearest is the corner shop up the road. They are open until 10pm. When you get the tracking and it says received by RM you can select redirect and pick the location

My last pen was delivered Saturday morning when I was away. It was still chilled Sunday evening when when I came home

Can you redirect to post office and pick up from there.. thats what I do as I live alone and work most days so never in..
