Switching from Mounjaro to Wegovy

Apologies if there has been a thread for this already- I’ve searched and can’t find one.

I had my last Mounjaro jab in July and with all the turbulence around cost and ordering have been holding fire until things settle down before reordering and am planning on having a look at Wegovy as a cheaper alternative.

Ive been with Medexpress so far but their website seems to be at a standstill. Looked at Boots but it seems you have to pick up from store which is tricky for me.

Any recommendations for places to purchase? I’ve had a month jab-free, so also, what dose would I have to start on?

After a month free, you will have to start from the bottom 0.25mg

I had my last dose of MJ mid July and have felt my weight ( esp around my middle) and appetite increase since.

Ive ordered my first 0.25 pen of WG from Chequp - they said due to demand its likely to be 7 days until i receive it.

When I do, I am planning to just give half that dose to start with as am so paranoid about side effects. Going to tread slowly as weirdly after being on MJ for almost a year I began to get more side effects ( and I never went above 5mg). Cant cope with anymore random episodes of feeling terrible/ vomiting.

Let me know how you get on

@swizzlestixfunny you should say that as I got to 7.5 on MJ and got sick of feeling ill all the time. Just started Wegovy 0.25 and haven’t had any suppression or side effects yet so be interesting to hear how you get on too.
