How to change suppliers and deal with an oversupply?

Just that really. I’ve been with my supplier since the beginning. I have an oversupply in my fridge from holidays etc. and I’m spacing out doses to maintain. I tried to tell my supplier that but they said if I’m off for two weeks then they’ll cancel my subscription and I’ll have to start again. They said I had to speak to someone but it’s been impossible to work out how to! My supplier also seems very expensive (pre the hikes) so I need to work out how to change.

Which pharmacy do you use please?

I'd just use up what you've got and if you ever need more see a private GP and explain the situation and they will prescribe. That's what I'm going to do (4.5 pens in the fridge and gradually stepping down).

Its really not difficult to move supplier @Tabletable. Its not a case of 'starting again' - lots of people change supplier every month. You can go to wherever has the cheapest new customer offer then. All that's needed to use a new supplier is:

  • have a photo of your ID, recent full body image of you and a photo of the lable on the box of your latest pen.
  • fill in the health questionnaire online. Takes 5-10 minutes
  • Pay
  • wait for a prescriber to approve your order
  • wait for delivery.

How long those last two take depends on the company. I'm currently with Juniper snd my pen was approved the day after ordering and delivered 2 days later. £154 for 7.5mg or 10mg with a new customer discount. I have a voucher code to share for them if you need it.

Look on www.monj.co.uk for the suppliers and deals. It's 2 weeks off medication to start from 2.5mg again but not every pharmacy has this rule.
I've had 4 suppliers in my journey, it's really easy to switch.
Are you close to goal? If so use up your stash and taper down. Take photos of all your boxes with dates prescribed so you have it in future if you need it. Lots of suppliers offer maintenance plans.
Medicine marketplace is the cheapest but I'm with oushk and just paid £143 delivered for 10mg.
The prices will all go up from 1st sept amd I don't think you'll get a pen before then as everyone is out of stock.
