Has anyone successfully switched from Mounjaro to Wegovy?

With this price hike and panic buying there’s almost no way I’ll be able to get another Mounjaro pen at a reasonable price. So I’m looking at Wegovy but I’ve heard so many things about the terrible side effects. Is it really that bad? I know everyone is different so I could be fine, I’m just a bit worried. The first couple of weeks of MJ weren’t enjoyable at all, I don’t want to go back to that! But because I’ve been taking MJ since March, my body is used to it, so would side effects from Wegovy be mild or would it be like starting from scratch? 🤔 (I’m mainly just thinking out loud, I know no-one will really know for sure)

Hi, am finishing off my last Mounjaro pen before starting a 0.5mg pen through Juniper.

I'd wager many many more people have used wegovy (or US equivalents) than Mounjaro successfully and there is a reason Ozempic (same thing) has been all over the news for years - it works well for most people.

I don't think there is a way to tell re side effects as everyone is different - we will each see when we try it, but certainly some people notice no difference (none, some, lots) between the two and some people do.

I have switched to Wegovy 1.7mg from Mounjaro 15mg, only 1 day ago, not noticed anything different yet, but abit early to say

Just the usual 1 week, so took wegovy when my next mounjaro dose was due

I went the other way ages ago. The clinic just swapped me over when the next dose was due. I can’t say I noticed much difference. I needed an electrolyte drink in the morning or I felt a bit sick and my friend says it made her tired in day one and two sometimes.

There's different advise from different pharmacies, i was using Thecarepharmacy but they said 5-6 weeks washout but I went with Cuva Health which advised just the one week normal gap.

I did not leave a gap, I went straight in with Wegovy. No different side effects except constipation on day 3. I have had one number two in a whole week. I will be putting on this week because of that. Food noise is back, hate it so far

I swapped a month ago. No side effects, still losing weight, no food noise whatsoever. Very happy with the decision. The cheaper cost means this can be long term for me

HI can I ask what dose of mj you were on and what dose of wegovy you went straight onto please?
Have you continued to have the same results as mj?
