Hi everyone, I’m with Voy for my Mounjaro and just wondering if anyone’s heard anything about prices going up? I'm a bit worried about how I'm going to afford this 😞

I haven’t heard anything from them (yet) about price rises.

MyMyDelilah · 21/08/2025 12:14

I received this on Friday

You might have seen in the news that Eli Lilly, the manufacturer of Mounjaro, has increased its wholesale prices. We wanted to reach out directly to keep you informed of these pricing changes.
What this means for you
There will be no price change on your next order.* We know how important consistency is in your treatment, and we're committed to minimising any disruptions.

*Please note, in order to benefit from our price freeze, your next order must be on or before 14th Sept.

We're currently reviewing what this industry-wide pricing change means for ongoing treatment costs. Rest assured that you’re our priority, so if any price changes do occur, they will be lower than those offered to new customers and we will always give you at least 7 days notice.
Alternative options
We completely understand that any increase, however small, can have an impact. We’re looking into equally effective, more affordable alternatives – including Wegovy, which has shown comparable results to Mounjaro.
20.7% weight lost on Wegovy vs. 22.5% on Mounjaro over 72 weeks
If you’d like to make the switch to Wegovy, we’ll support you in transitioning to the right dose. Plus, we’re offering you £50 off your first Wegovy order as a goodwill gesture. You'll be able to do this within the 'plan' section of your app.
Learn about Wegovy

The recommended switching dose will be reviewed by our clinical team and may be different from those suggested here.

We’re here to help you make the best decision for your health and budget.

All the best,
The Voy Team

@MyMyDelilah do you know if the 14 September price freeze applies to new customers? So if I ordwr e early September would it be at the current price for MJ?

oh I must've missed the email, thank you for sharing. I ended up finding an article about the price increase on the website which reassured me a bit! Are you thinking of switching? So many things to consider now

I'm hoping we hear back soon, seems like they're going to be proactive in updating us so fingers cross

I am going to stick with MJ @msbel29 , I am going to micro dose for hopefully my last pen. Have only gone up to 3.75 so far and hopefully can reach goal by the end of the next pen (end of October as I already have one in the fridge). Figured by doing that the weekly cost wasn’t much more than WJ. Completely get it isn’t for everyone though. If I had more to lose I think I would swap. Hoping someone uses my referral code to help!
What do you think you will do? The messenger thing on the app was quite useful (even if it’s AI 🙄)

Orangesandlemons77 · 21/08/2025 14:34

They sent this after the changes were announced. I have referral credit so when I swapped to wegovy they added another discount and my pen was free. This has encouraged me to try wegovy.

Mounjaro Price Increase in the UK 2025 | What You Need to Know

From September 2025, Mounjaro will cost more for UK private patients. Find out what this means and why Wegovy may become the preferred choice.

Orangesandlemons77 · 23/08/2025 12:03

I have quite a bit of referral credit so wondering even if the prices do rise if they keep that as it is it might still make it relatively affordable.

I've got this wegovy pen to try and my next order is due just before the 14 September and they said I could go back to mounjaro then if I want so might have a think about it and see how it goes with side effects and decide then.

Fatmumslim01 · 23/08/2025 13:28

Following. Has anyone heard anything from voy on their new prices yet?

Orangesandlemons77 · 24/08/2025 12:36

Not yet, I asked yesterday about the prices rising and got the following:

  • Regarding to price increase, as of the moment, we’re actively reviewing our pricing to ensure we offer the best possible value, and will always give at least 7 days’ notice before making any changes to existing subscriptions. While we’ll do our best to keep Mounjaro as accessible as possible, Wegovy is now likely to be the more affordable option for most patients.
Orangesandlemons77 · 24/08/2025 13:12

I think I might stick with wegovy if the side effects are not too bad. I could potentially change back to MJ as my next dose is due the 13 Sep so would be before the price changes, but if it is going up anyway...

LaGioiosanotLeviosa · 27/08/2025 10:53

Surely they need to update soon if they are going to hike prices? 1 week is really not a lot of notice!
Im trying to bring all my orders forward as much as possible but it’s frustrating because maybe I don’t need to if the prices stay the same for a while (let’s face it they are higher than other companies anyway) or it doesn’t go up too much.

Amidthespamid · 28/08/2025 17:24

Yes… they are now enjoying some false advertisement!! I saw the below image on their official page on Facebook, felt relieved and got in touch with customer support to discuss this.
I was then informed this is for Wegovy and not Mounjaro, (even though the price of wegovy has not been affected at all)… they made no attempt to specify this on the image they posted!! They then offered me money (a measly £30!!) to not complain as they were aware they had breached advertising regulations. They were told to stick it! I’m honestly so sick of this company now. They are becoming more and more deceitful and the customer service is just shocking!!! funnily enough the post has now vanished!!

Anyone heard any updates from Voy?
Orangesandlemons77 · 01/09/2025 12:02

I hope they update soon. I guess they will need to by the 7th Sep if their increase start on the 14th and they give a weeks notice. I have some referral credit giving £100 off a pen and wondering if this will allow me to afford to continue with mounjaro or switch to wegovy instead.

LaGioiosanotLeviosa · 01/09/2025 12:43

I think if they increase by much then they could run the risk of pricing themselves out the market as they are already at the higher end.
I chose them because I was so nervous and liked the idea of the coaching etc etc but actually I’ve not used any of it and have realised I’m pretty well informed with nutrition and exercise already so could easily change to a normal supplier who would be cheaper. I would stay with them for ease if the price isn’t crazy.

msbel29 · 01/09/2025 17:38

Hi everyone, thought I'd update as I saw this post about Voy's price increase on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/mounjarouk/comments/1n5mqvi/voy_updated_prices/ also noticed they've emailed with more info. I think I'm going to switch to Wegovy since I can switch to a higher dose, but I'll need to do some more research. How are you all feeling with the price increase?

OP posts:
Orangesandlemons77 · 01/09/2025 18:15

I'm feeling a bit unsure what to do as have swapped to wegovy but would need to change back to MJ to qualify as a 'previous customer' I suppose despite being on Mj over a year with them. I think. My referral credit MAY mean it is possible to stay on MJ but it seems wegovy would still be the cheaper option as I can use the referral credit on that as well.

Overall I think the prices are not as high as they could be, bit as a pp mentioned think they couldn't go much higher without pricing themselves out of the market, really.

Orangesandlemons77 · 01/09/2025 18:30

Ok, they have told me if I switch back now I will count as a previous MJ customer so get the better prices and can use my referral credit so going to do that. With £100 off the slightly better prices that makes them quite a bit cheaper than the others on offer I think

LaGioiosanotLeviosa · 01/09/2025 18:32

I never get any of these emails from them! Not even in the junk folder!

LaGioiosanotLeviosa · 01/09/2025 18:41

My next 7.5 pen is due out before the 14th so showing at the lower price of £214. Hopefully they don’t change this!

Orangesandlemons77 · 01/09/2025 18:44

They did say the changes would happen on the 14th so yes should be the cheaper price and also should be an existing customer.

BlueLimes · 01/09/2025 21:09

Ill consider swapping as I don’t use the coaching. Are those new prices reliable do you think?

BlueLimes · 01/09/2025 21:10

Oh just saw will be £299 as I’m an existing customer - I’ll probably stay with them.

Orangesandlemons77 · 01/09/2025 21:42

Compared to Oushk, it is a bit cheaper at the higher doses (see below)

Mounjaro 2.5mg – £169
Mounjaro 5mg – £189
Mounjaro 7.5mg – £249
Mounjaro 10mg – £279
Mounjaro 12.5mg – £305
Mounjaro 15mg – £325

Sofia25 · 02/09/2025 11:32

I'm sticking with MJ but switched from Medexpress to Cuva Health, pricing seems good to me and they delivered the next day after I placed my order, whereas ME took 2 weeks on my last order.
If it helps anyone they have £15 off on thier website so prices would be:
Mounjaro 2.5mg - £143.90
Mounjaro 5mg - £173.90
Mounjaro 7.5mg - £233.90
Mounjaro 10mg - £253.90
Mounjaro 12.5mg - £273.90
Mounjaro 15mg - £293.90
