Struggling to get hold of my next 5mg pen

As the title says I have one dose of 5mg left which I'm due to take on the weekend, placed an order with Zava on the 14/8 which is still processing. Don't really know what to do now.

I wouldn't panic.

It's been the weekend. The news about the new prices just broke so demand has risen.

You have a dose left for this coming weekend so you still have at least 10 days before you'll need your next pen?

Chase up you supplier and maybe order elsewhere just to be one pen ahead.

You couldn't have known, don't be angry with yourself.

But I completely agree about misdirected frustration, these threads have people expressing anger at people who did not cause the "pendemic" (stolen from Reddit). There are very powerful executives at EL who made this decision, they are upping the price so that many people won't be able to continue. Everyone is just trying to make the best choices they can from a series of crappy options.

@Lozzie118 - If you've not managed to get anything yet, I've just placed an order with Parmacy2u. There's not discount so more than I would usually pay but they are showing stock of all doses at the moment. I'm just waiting to see if mine is approved. Hope it helps x

Those who have ordered very recently, can I ask how much the price has gone up by/to?

I just ordered from Pharmacy2U. I've not ordered from them before so can't say how much it went up by but £20ish more than my usual supplier... Oushk had no stock but pricing looked the same

I also placed an order with Zava on the 14th for a 7.5.
It's just arrived.
Original estimate was delivered by Sunday, didn't hear anything till Monday night saying it would come today from Royal Mail.

Hopefully they are just snowed under and you will get your pen soon!

This situation is awful, I ordered 7.5 instead of 5 because of the price increase, but I'm not sure I'm really ready to increase. But with how much more expensive it will become I went up anyway. Just hope I'll be OK.

@Coffeeandallthebooks You don’t have to take the full dose, just count the clicks (40) to carry on taking a 5mg dose.

So I've ordered from the independent pharmacy.co.uk, it says delivery could be Thursday new problem I'm not in on Thursday 😂 😠

I know its pointless being angry with myself. I think I'm a bit of a control freak who hates change. I wish I was more happy to just wait it out. I have decided to delay my injection tomorrow and microdose down to the next level. That way I can decide what to do next, next week. Let's hope some pens turn up soon.

I still might try to order from another supplier after lunch. Then I have exhausted my options but it will have to be on the credit card as I've already spent out

I use them, @Lozzie118 - they are expensive (not the most expensive) but so far have been super reliable and never out of stock.

I'm an existing customer with pharmacy2u and ordered on Saturday, its still processing. Taking my third dose tomorrow. I've never done the golden dose but will be this time.

I've just ordered 10mg from Yourmedicals (they don't appear on the Monj comparison website but are a properly accredited online pharmacy) and I paid £134.

They are actively targeting customers who want to move before the 1st September and offer the option to buy 2 pens.

I was getting desperate and this was one of the few options left.

I use Medicine marketplace and my 10mg order from last Friday is showing as processing, they aren't answering the phones and I don't have the box from my last pen. Not getting very far getting a new supplier as can only provide screen shots from my MN account page and email correspondence of past orders.

I ordered 5mg pen from Zava on the 14th also and mine was delivered on the 16th!

I usually order from Ashcroft and they used to let you order 2 pens at a time - I’m kicking myself now that I didn’t.

I'll try and not be jealous that you have your pen from Zava and I don't lol

I ordered my 5 mg from Zava on Thursday evening. It was approved last night.

Out of desperation I ordered another 12.5mg pen from my last supplier yesterday. They had it in stock on Monj. I didn't need to refill my medical details. But yet again it's just stuck awaiting approval.

So in total now I have 4 orders with four different suppliers and every single one is awaiting approval.

I hope one gets approved by next jab day at least. I know from reading on here at least two of suppliers are delaying because in that time they have approved and delivered others lower doses.

What happens if stock is held back for the September price increase? Surely they wouldn't do that?

That was a mistake, using 5 doses means you stockpile one pen out of every four......
