Sorry if I'm being really dense here?

Do you mean the "EC" in brackets? "Existing Customer" I would have thought?

Burnserns · 18/08/2025 13:09

EC= existing customers only

Crunchymum · 18/08/2025 13:15

No I'm talking about the e in front of the actual prices

For Juniper, Simple Online Pharmacy and a few others

I think it just means 'estimated' - although I'm confused why some suppliers have estimated costs and others have costs.

That isn't visible on your screenshot... it's too small to see it's an "e". But, they are all the same ones that have (EC) for existing customers only underneath the price, so I would imagine it's the same thing. E for existing.

Yep I realise the screenshot is rubbish so I've added the actual link.

Still none the wiser about the e but thanks for your suggestion.

High demand. Limited stock available.

IsItSnowing · 18/08/2025 14:08

It's because the discounted price is for existing customers only. It was probably added before they decide to only supply to existing customers anyway.

Strange as surely the EC means the prices are for existing customers and the e is unnecessary? But yep makes sense.

Is e expected maybe as in that is what they predict but it hasn't been confirmed?

The price list is current (and updated in real time as one of the suppliers I looked at this morning has changed to existing clients only)

I wonder if the e means the supplier may decide to change the prices as they see fit, even before 1st September? IE the price shown is the expected price you'd pay if you order today but it could end up being different?

It's all a bloody mess in any event.
