Anyone buying direct from a pharmacy?

I.e. not mail order-I'd like the option of buying from a human being, even if it's a bit dearer. Does anyone use this? I just hate the endless online questions, is there a way to bypass this?

I'm not, but it's a popular way of doing it around here as we have a very good local pharmacy that are providing it, as well as a local private gp service who are very popular.

I have only used my local pharmacist. I have a face to face chat with him once a month and come away with my pen.
I didn't mind paying a little extra for this rather than use an online site. However, I am now concerned that he may not be able to fulfil a prescription for my next pen if he has run out and I will be stuck. I am hoping things settle down quickly.
I may also have to rethink my approach if the costs are loads more getting it from him compared to online after September.
