"stockpilers" are you concerned about gaps in ordering

Those who have bought multiple pens over the last few days....are you worried that in 2/3/4 months time when your stash runs out that you will only be able to order 2.5mg as your prescription will be a few months ago?

I've "only" ordered 1 pen but debating getting another at current prices but worried that if that takes me to say October before I need to order again then my last 7.5 prescription would have been now so pharmacies may say I have to go down to 2.5? Or maybe they will understand lots of people bought alot in one go?

It's all such a worrying uncertain time!

I "only" ordered one pen as well, but no I'm not worried. I would think more then half of users will be buying in bulk right now, so many will be in the same position. Suppliers may well just wish to see evidence of this.

I ordered 2 pens. I will order again as usual like I normally would in 2 weeks time. There won’t be a gap in ordering.

I have been on mj for a year. I always order my next pen when prompted by my provider but I always take the bonus dose. This and ordering a few pens a week early to tie in with travel arrangements has resulted in me having an unintentional stockpile of 3 unused pens.

Very handy in the present circumstances but totally unplanned.

I still have at least 40lbs to go and I average a loss of 4lbs per pen. I intend to order again in 4 weeks and again 4 weeks after that.

When I get to within 7lbs of target I will stop ordering and use my supply to titrate down and begin to navigate maintenance.

I have four pens in the fridge, a 5mg, 10mg and two 12.5mg. Im not sure whether I will start the 10mg or the 12.5mg next week, I have done two 10mg pens plus bonus doses. Have about 14 lbs to goal.
I have ordered three more 12.5mg and a 10mg with the intention of counting clicks to find a maintenance dose. I am happy to use the pen a bit after the 30 days. No idea if they will arrive though!
I used a pharmacy that price matched plus took advantage of new customer discounts elsewhere so most I have paid for a pen has been 149.99 including delivery and that was for 12.5mg.
If the four pens I ordered arrive, the main pharmacy I use will know I bulk-bought three from them (they said we could) so there shouldn't be an issue reordering after a break.
Looking at the recent expiry dates they pens can stay in the fridge until the beginning of 2027 so I think I would always like to have a couple of pens extra

People will be able to evidence they ordered X amount of pens so it shouldn’t be a problem.

I am staying on 2.5mg so no worries with ordering an extra one now.

Oushk mentioned we could order upto 3 pens on Thursday, I ordered 2 x 10mg even though I'm on 15mg because the 12.5 and 15 were both out of stock! I am tapering down from today, took 12.5mg from a new pen I had already in fridge.
They have said previously, anyone with a stockpile purchased elsewhere just needs proof ie photo of pens or email and it is fine as it is not a gap of usage, just of ordering.

Oh really that's good news. Was that in an email? I'm signed up for them with oushk but never seen to get them
I'm hoping to switch to oushk after my current orders run out so if I can just show them the prescription to prove I bought a few at the same time from another supplier that would be good

They did a Facebook live on Thursday afternoon, I was at work so missed it but then saw all the posts on the evening. Are you on their Facebook group? Worth joining. They also sent 2 emails on Thursday about price hikes and 2 on friday about switching to wegovy and more info. From Friday you can order max 2 pens has to be delivered by 1st Sept or new prices kick in.
I think they changed their email system a few months ago as I had to reregister for newsletters. If you go on their website there should be a way to register.

My orders are all with my regular supplier, they have my full prescribing history so it wont be a problem.

If you are jumping between suppliers keep all prescription details/dates (preferably of your whole prescribing history) so that you have plenty of evidence to share and hopefully you will be ok.

Generally, if switching between suppliers, it would also be worth having and keeping independently verified evidence of your obesity (weight, height, BMI, dated photographs). This might be required as pharmacies tighten prescribing requirements in line with GPhC expectations. During their inspection Oushk were challenged on whether they had sufficient proof for patients transferring with a BMI no longer meeting eligibility criteria. Evidence that a patient had previously been prescribed by another pharmacy was not considered adequate that they were eligible at the start.

I've ordered one extra pen from my usual supplier. I've only got around 6 or 7lb to lose now so I need to either come off it or find a smaller dose that works for maintenance. If I need to buy any more pens I'll speak to my provider on what to do. Maybe switch to Wegovy for maintenance for a while as I can't afford the increased Mounjaro prices.

I plan to stay with Oushk for a while, because they’ve been so good to me. They have said it’ll be fine.

I should have enough pens to take me to goal or at the very least BMI 25 (currently 31)
Fast forward middle of next year & if I am regaining I would like the option to stay on MJ (or even Wegovy) for maintenance if desperate.

no, i'll be on MJ for at least a year, only ordered 2 extra pens & I'm likely to be increasing the dose in the next few weeks so will get through them quicker anyway.

I can't see many discounts or price matching being available for a while until everything settles down so i'm planning on either staying with my current provider, or a going to a different one, but either way I'll be staying with them for a few months & ordering as normal every 4 weeks or so.

I've got receipts/copy prescriptions if i do need to 'explain' any gaps/dates & i'm sure providers will give some leeway for what's happening now as they'll want to keep existing customers happy, especially if orders drop off a cliff!
