I really want to try WLI after years and years of yoyo dieting and 4 children / pregnancies taking their toll on my body. However I have got very thin hair and hairloss, I'm currently taking iron to try and address this as my ferritin was low but I really really can't afford to lose anymore hair as my scalp is already visible in places especially around my crown. Just wondering if hair loss is inevitable on these injections or if anyone has managed to lose weight without experiencing any hair loss particularly people who already have fine or thin hair. I have about 2.5- 3 stone to lose to get to healthy bmi.

I think the hair loss is linked to rapid weight loss- you might be ok if you stay at 2.5mg. I have lost some hair but started taking collagen and was recommended a shampoo by my hairdresser which seem to have helped.

The hair loss is from weight loss not mounjaro. I have lost large amounts of weight several times over my life and always had hair loss at the time.

I haven’t. 6 stone lost so far and totally u affected hair wise. I eat a decent amount of healthy calories every day. I think I that’s plays a part.

I have lost weight not that rapidly but definitely seeing hair loss.
Have tried minoxidil from hair and me, too soon to see results but hopefully.
All worth it to lose the food noise!

I’ve lost six stone in 10 months and had no hair loss whatsoever. Only symptom I’ve had is occasional mild nausea.

No hair loss for me either - over 6 stone lost but over a year so averaging a gentle 7lbs per month. I think that might be the trick to protecting your hair.

I lost 75 lbs over about six months and have had no hair loss. I ate protein first at each meal but not much else.

I didn’t or don’t think I experienced hair loss. I have fine hair that’s always fallen out, lots in my hairbrushes etc I didn’t notice any differences when I was on the injections. I only stopped due to the costs.

i do take collagen supplements, currently a Elivate this is mainly for joint pain and other medical issues but I have seen a difference in my hair since starting this one, it feels fuller and it’s definitely grown faster since I started as my roots grew out a good 2 weeks before they usually do after my last touch up.

Five stone over a year and no hair loss. I do have collagen daily if that makes any difference.
