Delivery hasn’t arrived and it’s 34 degrees…

med express despatched yesterday morning and it was meant to arrive with Royal Mail today. Normally they are great. I know it has cold packs but I doubt if it does arrive tomorrow they will still be cold. Med express have said I can send them a photo where they will check the medicine isn’t cloudy etc and that it’s fine below 30……anyone else had this? Thanks

Were you planning on using it this week? MedExpress should be ensuring the medication arrives with you at a temp of 2 to 8 degrees. Yes, it is fine as long as it's less than 30 degrees but that depends on you being happy to start using it this week as the "in use" 30 day expiry will have started. You may have ordered a couple of weeks in advance which is your choice to do so, and MedExpress should be able to fulfill that and not send you a pen you need to start using straight away.

The medication not being cloudy doesn't mean it's ok, it just means it's not obviously unuseable. It could still have significantly degraded without it being visible.

No I won’t be using it this week… so why would it be in use already? Sorry if I’m being dense

Ignore me - I’ve just read their guidelines and I see what you mean

Which delivery service have they used with Royal Mail?

It's super-unusual for Special Delivery not to arrive next day.

If they've used Tracked 24.... well I'd be very unhappy with that (unless you opted for it), as it's not a guaranteed next day service and really should not be used for cold chain deliveries.

Yes Royal Mail. Despatched Monday at 05.22 and I’ve just had a text from Royal Mail saying it won’t be delivered until tomorrow now so over the 48 hours. I’ve emailed med express and told them I will be returning it for a replacement so will see what they say …..

I had a package from Medicine Marketplace that sat in the Royal Mail Bristol sorting office for 36 hours last week. When it arrived, the ice pack was completely melted and felt room temperature. I contacted the pharmacy but they said they would do nothing about it. I’ll be rethinking who I order with next month. They don’t offer a choice of delivery services as far as I can see.

Oh and yes it was tracked 24 . Nothing surprises me with Royal Mail but the med express ones have always arrived very promptly until now

Did you choose Tracked 24?

Because if ME charged you for next day delivery and then sent it via this service, they have let you down.

The only guaranteed next day service Royal Mail offer is Special Delivery. It's the only service any of these only pharmacies should be using for MJ.
