Advice needed (10mg from 7.5 pen - syringe?

Can someone help me work this out.

My next pen will be 10mg pen but I have one week left of my 7.5mg. I'd quite like to get any side effects out the way before term starts (teacher) so thinking of using the golden dose with my final dose to make it a 10mg dose this Friday.

Can I do that? I have syringes I got when I started when I was worried about needle failure but never used them.

I originally thought I could jab to "1" then add 20 clicks but I think I've read the pen won't let me do that?

Should I try the syringe? If a full dose is 0.6 for 7. 5 then if I draw up 0.8 that will be 10 won't it?

Will there be that much left even?

And any advice using the syringe?

If you have one normal dose left in your 7.5mg pen, then there will be the 0.6ml for that in the pen, plus the leftover medication which is usually around 0.6ml up to 0.9 depending on how much came out when you primed previous injections. So you definitely have enough medication to draw out 0.8ml for a 10mg dose.

You could also do a normal dose from the pen, and then draw out an additional 0.2ml and inject that with the syringe, to make 0.8ml in total for a 10mg total dose.
