Disposal of Needles

I'm considering going down the line of WLI's. How do you manage the disposal of used needles? Presumably they have to be disposed of as sharps.

You get a yellow bin from your council

I was sent a yellow sharps bin with my first order.

I was sent a sharps bin with my first order (pharmacy express). I accidentally sealed it shut after 7 weeks so took it to my local pharmacy and they took it and gave me another in its place, free.

Some pharmacies send a free sharps bin, others prompt you to purchase one, or you can get one off Amazon. I bought a compact 0.25L one and it lasted a year.

The problem some then find is somewhere that will take the bin for disposal. You will need to try your gp, pharmacy, council etc to find out what local arrangements are.
