Forgot to put my newly delivered Mounjaro in fridge yesterday!

Does anyone know if it will be ok to put in fridge today and start using it next week? I had such a stressful day yesterday with family stuff and I’ve completely forgotten that it was delivered yesterday! I’m so frustrated with myself.

It will be fine. It luckily isn’t too hot at the moment. I missed the delivery of my last pen when it was really hot and I got stressed about the postman holding the parcel for another 24 hours but it was all okay.

The storage instructions are to store an unused pen between 2 and 8 degrees C, which is fridge temp. Once the pen is at room temperature and/or it's been used, you should use it within 30 days and it can be kept at room temp (as long as it's below 30 degrees C) or it can be kept in the fridge, whichever you prefer. So if you are going to use the pen next week you should be fine for doing the 4 injections within the 30 days.

Tbh I doubt that the pen will have been above 8 degrees by very much and not for very long, given that it would have been in insulation and with ice packs. Was it still cool to the touch when you unpacked it and put it in the fridge?

Yes it was still relatively cool when I unpacked it. The box is now safely in my fridge and waiting for next week. I’m going up to 12.5mg as my current dose hasn’t worked very well at all. Hope everyone else is getting on ok.
