Don’t know if it’s worth carrying on .

So I’ve taken Monjuaro since beginning of February & have lost 1 stone 7lbs . I went up
to 10 mg 4 weeks ago & felt quite ill with sulphur burps & diarrhoea .
I took a week off last week .
Debating whether to carry on .
I have loads of weight to lose 😭.

Anyone continued and side effects got better?

How was the weight loss on the 10mg for the last 4 weeks? I had some side effects on 5mg and on 7.5mg, but haven't had any for many months now. Side effects tend to occur on increasing dose and then settle, so you may find it gets better.

@SilenceInside Weight lose ramped up on 10 mg but I think it’s because I barely ate through fear of side effects.

So I would try to stabilise on a dose, either 7.5mg if you were losing weight ok, or on the 10mg. Presumably you moved up to 10mg due to weight loss slowing down?

Were you still slowly losing at the lower dose? If so then I would say it is well worth continuing. When you do the math, that would be a bit over three stone by a year, six stone after two years. Compared to a slow steady increase for most people who aren’t using anything.
Picture yourself in February 2027 either six stone lighter then last February, or a bit heavier. You would be so pleased you continued. It is a marathon, not a sprint.

What are you eating? Can you up your fibre and protein intake? Pair things right back to fresh fruit, veggies and lean protein, see if that helps?

I thought I wasn’t losing ANY weight at first
scales said a loss of 5lb over 3 months which is rubbish however I dropped from a 14 to a 12 and lots of people commenting how much thinner I look . I don’t rely on the scale anymore as desipite what it says my size 14 clothes are loose on me now and I’ve lost some bum and boob ☹️ and generally feel better . The scales aren’t always a measure of weight loss . Measure your waist using tape might help

I think I will go down to 7.5 I was only on 7.5 for a month and did have a
few pounds loss & have been eating protein and drinking lots of water .
I am in peri with pcos and don’t move much ( 4000 steps per day roughly)

That sounds like a good approach, hopefully you will get some steady weight loss without any/too many side effects.

Sounds like you were doing quite well on 7.5. I agree it's a good decision.
