Jabbing 24/48 hours early?

I'm on my 16th week of mounjaro.

I did 5 weeks at 2.5, 2 at 3.75 and have been on 5 ever since so 9 weeks I think. A few weeks ago I started feeling really hungry weds and Thurs (I jab on a Fri) but then the next week it passed and I felt that suppression was lasting all week.

Until this week...I'm so hungry! Already picked today at crisps and cereal bar 😞

I'm having around 1200 calories a day, I'm only 5 foot so my tdee is quite low.

I've lost 23 pound so far.

Debating jabbing tonight tomorrow so 24-48 hours early so I don't overeat. Has anyone done this?

I've got 4 doses left in my 5mg then I may go up to 7.5

I wouldn't but I am a bit of a hypocrite as I have jabbed a day early twice.
On week 3 & week 4 of 2.5mg
Not felt the need to do it since & now on week 48.
Suppression doesn't last all week for me but I have learnt to deal with it.
I wouldn't chase it.
You probably already know but the half life of this drug is 5 days so after then it is natural to feel hungrier.
Maybe try using a different injection site? it is probably in the mind but for me I found it did make a difference in both the good & bad side effects.
I would use the next couple of weeks as a test to see if you should go up to 7.5 next month.

I wouldn't inject early, and haven't so far. It's normal to feel hungrier towards the end of the week, and I just factor that in so that my food intake over the week averages out. You are not likely to overeat to the extent that you gain weight.

If it starts to happen earlier in the week or you feel like nothing much is happening at all after you inject then yes, maybe it's worth considering moving up to 7.5mg.

Could it be hormonal? I've been SO BLOODY HUNGRY the last 3 days (on week 5 of 2.5mg), thought I had gotten accustomed to the dose, and then my period started today and my appetite has stabilised immediately. I am due to jab tomorrow and I am glad I didn't bring it forward. My body was tricking me the sly old dog.

I've taken it 2 days early on the advice of my prescriber when it wore out and I had 2 weeks left in it until going up a dose. It didn't work at all for a week and it wasn't hormonal related. The half life is 5 days so it often wears out around then but if you are hungry most of the week, it's a sign to move up a dose. Most of my doses wear out quickly, 2.5mg only lasted 2 weeks for me, 5mg 5 weeks..ive done 2 pens on 7.5 and above but regretted it and wish I'd moved up quicker. I'm going upto 15mg on Saturday.

I've just managed to twist the 5mg pen hard enough to allow a 5th golden dose. I've been on 5mg for 2 mths and works well but same as some people on here, Wednesday is a bit tricky for me in that I start feeling hungry. I jab Fridays. Question is should I use the 5th dose for an early jab on Thursday morning and save the one due Friday for the following week?
