Travel insurance and MJ

Has anyone bought travel insurance while on MJ recently? Which company did you use?

I’ve just been getting quotes from the price comparison sites but there wasn’t an obvious place to add MJ as a medication and I know if you don’t declare everything it can invalidate the insurance. Just wondering which company to use.

For travel insurance you rarely disclose medication, you disclose medical conditions. See if you can add obesity as a preexisting condition and that should cover you.

As above you have to declare obesity. I actually rang my insurance company and they confirmed that’s what you do and noted I am using WLI. I think they’re rather slow in catching up on this.

It did cost me £68 on an annual policy.

you do have to declare prescription meds. Generally you need to speak to a real person to add them though sometimes there’s an online way of doing it

Yes, I declared obesity and MJ via comparethemarket and all ok.

Ahh, that’s where I’m going wrong! Ok, I’ll try that. Thanks all!

Admiral travel insurance, purchased 1 month ago. I was told over the phone to declare obesity as illness.
