Looking to start wli and grace a few questions I hope you can help with. Have been trying to look at posts but cannot find some of the info I know I've seen before and some other questions.

  1. Do suppliers help you with choosing whether you go with eg wegovy vs mounjaro etc?
  2. How do you choose a supplier? Do you just go with cheapest from monj. Co.uk?

Anything I should prepare?

Thanks a lot

Suppliers will likely offer Wegovy or Mounjaro but it’s up to you to decide which is your preference. The pharmacy won’t suggest one over the other.

In terms of choosing a pharmacy, some do a subscription model and some offer additional support like coaching. I didn’t want either of those so avoided those pharmacies. After that, it’s really just price. Charges for delivery can vary a lot, so worth making sure you’ve factored that in. And you can always change for your next order if you’re not impressed with the service.

I spent weeks and weeks getting overwhelmed before one evening going on the mounjaro website and doing the equivalent on sticking a pin in a map! Subsequently I get mine from Oushk. So far they’ve been good!

They wanted a full length photo and my gp details.

I went with the very well known one first as it made me feel more secure when new to the idea of getting prescription medication online - and also a real life friend gave me her discount code. I stuck with them for a couple more pens as I also shared my code with another friend and had credit. But now with no credit they are not competitive so I too went to Monj and got a much better deal.(£60 cheaper) it is very worthwhile swapping suppliers each month. It just means providing new photos and previous prescription evidence. Keep all your boxes or save a photo of the labels.

I also had no interest in paying extra for any sort of support package/app and nothing I’ve heard about the ones that offer this would change my mind on that.

And to answer your first question. I didn’t even consider wegovy. All studies have shown Mounjaro to be more effective for weight loss and generally less severe side effects. It acts in 2 ways whereas wegovy only 1. If I was doing this I was going for the (current) gold standard not the slightly cheaper runner up!

I’ve used wegovy and mounjaro. The pharmacy usually offers one or the other. For me mounjaro has less side effects and but slower results.

I used a pharmacy based supplier (Boots) because couriers can be unreliable and I wanted to be 100% sure that my prescription had been kept under the correct conditions. I collect my prescription from the pharmacy.
