Sorry, as the title says, it’s a bit gross! I don’t have any other side effects but since being on mounjaro just over a week I feel like I’ve got a lot of phlegm at the back of my throat. Like when you’re recovering from a cold and there’s a bit of a phlegm build-up. I haven’t had a blocked nose though or any other cold symptoms so I have no idea where it’s coming from. It’s so annoying and gross! Never had this before either (unless I’ve had a cold) so thinking it might be a side effect. Anyone else get this?

Strange question but have you upped your dairy intake? When I was having more milk-based protein products, this happened to be. Switched to clear whey, problem over!

Ah maybe that’s it. I’ve been having a lot of whey protein shakes which are milk based

This reminds me of when I used to get indigestion many years ago. The doctor explained that the body produces more phlegm to neutralise the bile in the throat. It feels like you're congested, or sometimes that there's something stuck in your throat.
