Restarting MJ after stopping at goal weight. Anyone else?

So hit my goal weight of 9st in Jan and came off MJ.

Over 6 months I have regained 14lbs and have decided to go back on MJ to firstly lose the weight again and then possibly do a low maintenance dose for a while.

Admittedly I went back to old habbits after a while and am determined to change my habbit properly and permanently this time.

What was your original starting weight if you don’t mind me asking pls?

And I have PCOS and an autoimmune disease that makes it difficult for me to lose weight

Yes I am, have been since November because I have 8 stone to lose and need to be able to stick to a calorie deficit for at least 12/18 months. I then plan to titrate down whilst I learn what maintenance looks like.

If I only had a stone to lose I'd just get my arse moving and get back on the maintenance calories for the weight I want to be and stick at it.

I got my arse moving, ate high protein and in a deficit for nearly a year.

Gained a stone, lost nowt and ended up with 2 stone to lose.

Not possible unless you have other underlying conditions.

Many people do, as stated on here.

I have lost 9 stone. My body holds onto weight so badly but MJ helps me fight it so much.
Why spend years possibly trying to fight against my body to lose 14lbs when MJ can help me to do it in months?

Its proven that its much harder to lose weight when you are closer to a healthy BMI, add to that my health issues, its near impossible for me to drop naturally.

I know where I messed up and when I get back to goal I will continue to ise MJ when needed and focus on not doing what got me here

Im baffled as to why you are so antiMJ when you are a user yourself :/

I'd be really interested to see how you do when you hit goal and go cold turkey.

Because you really do forget what that food noise feels like!

I completely get why you're going back on especially with PCOS. Don't worry what anyone else says.

You can learn all the healthy habits in the world but you'll still have a metabolic disorder that needs treating, and mounjaro treats it.

Thank you. I think you’re doing exactly the right thing. Good luck OP. I’m just at the start of this process.

No other conditions that would explain the weight gain.
