5th dose of 5mg so sick

About 5 hours ago I took my 5th dose of 5mg after 8 weeks of 2.5 and minimal if any side effects.
I've just been so so sick, like gut wrenching, horrific.
I've obviously contacted my provider but I wondered if there was any reassurance here for over night?
Is this normal, am I just ill?

Did you eat after taking it? I was violently ill after my first dose of 5, but I think that's fairly common because the jump up to 5 from 2.5 is when you get the most concentration of the drug in your system.
I'd eaten after taking it, and it didn't seem to agree with me, so now I take it before bed and all OK. Hope you're feeling better this morning.

5mg has made me think (2 stone in 2 months) but so sick. I can hardly walk up the stairs without resting at the top of them.

I had unpleasant gastric side effects on my 4th week of 5mg (not vomiting but sulfur burps, abdominal cramps and diarrhoea).
I waited 10 days before taking the next dose and reduced the dose slightly. Did 4 weeks on the reduced dose before trying 5mg again. Have now done five consecutive weeks on 5mg with no return of the side effects. 🤞🏻
