When did your weight loss slow down in Mounjaro ?

Hi
I’m on week 10 of Mounjaro lost 23 pounds . Still have another 40 to go .
Currently on the 7.5 mg injection and I might stay on it as the side effects where so bad from the 5 to the 7.5 I’m not sure I want to increase just yet .
I’m getting married in 7 weeks but my last dress fitting was this week , I won’t have time for more alterations . I’m unsure if any weight loss will be noticeable in 7 weeks . Thanks

Yes it probably will be, my weightloss was a steady angle down, almost no plateaus, if your worried about the dress no fitting, and it sounds like your weightloss has been rapid so I would be, I would have a half dose or take a break, or have them pull it TIGHT in anticipation but that seems like a risk…

I do nit want to stop as it’s worrying so well but it’s as you say it risky . I have 2 dresses one has coursage like ties so I might get away with it ? I hope .
how long have you been on it and did you increase the dose every 4 weeks ? Thank you

Mine has slowed down now, the last 2 months I’ve dropped a total of 6lbs but it’s been a lot of weeks of 1lb on, 0.5 off, maintaining, 2lbs off, 1lb back on again etc etc.
So I’m slowly plateauing and reaching what’s probably a natural best weight for me.
i’m almost 5 stone down and 6 months in. I lost just over 4 stone in the first 4ish months.
I’m now sitting near the top end of my healthy BMI rate.
But people will plateau at different times for different reasons, I’m not sure there’s a one size fits all. I lost a lot very quickly because my diet before MJ was very snacky and mostly carbs. I now never snack and eat a small amount of carbs once per day - it was a drastic change. If you have less of an adaption to make you may not see such quick results.

I’ve been on it just under 7 months and lost 60lbs. I upped doses every four weeks, my provider just automatically upped it, then i switched suppliers and stayed on each dose until suppression started wearing off then upped it, if that makes sense?
yeah one you can lace up at the back sounds like a great shout then its no pressure.
