Prescriber video consul cutting me off

I’ve been on mounjaro a year and been maintaining for 6 months on 10mg at a healthy bmi. I need my next prescription as only have one dose left. Prescriber has sent me an email saying that I need a video consul with them as part of 6 month review. This would be fine but they don’t have any appointments for nearly two weeks which means I’m going to have missed 2/3 doses. Feels wrong that they didn’t warn me of this last month. Anyone else had this?

Do they know you only have 1 dose left? If not, I'd email and explain to see if they can find an earlier appointment.

What's your BMI and who is your current prescriber? If they won't budge you might be able to get a pen by switching to a new pharmacy.

My bmi is 20. 3 ish I think. I’m going to try another provider if they can’t sort it earlier. I just think it’s really poor they’ve done this. I really feel like people trying to maintain are not being properly supported.

Your provider should have been clear about what they do and don't support earlier though, I agree. Hopefully, they will find a solution for you.

When is your next dose due? You could maybe stretch this and the next dose by a couple of days?

@Burnserns yes I know. I don’t hold out huge hope. I did speak to care pharmacy a few months ago and they said they would prescribe to bmi 19.5 so I’m going to try them.
