Approved for MJ - holiday coming up?

I’ve been approved to start on Mounjaro.

However, I have a holiday coming up very soon and I’m wondering whether I should take my first dose before travelling, or wait until afterwards? Mostly just concerned about any side effects etc. while away. It’s only a week-long holiday.

If the pen arrives before I depart, if I keep it unopened in the fridge that should be ok right?

I'd wait till afterwards.
An unopened pen can wait in the fridge until the expiry date printed on the box/pen.

Part of me says just go for it but it's unknown how you are going to feel so personally I'd keep it in the fridge and do it when you return.

Probably wisest to wait and treat the holiday as a last hurrah
