Mounjaro - more than 60 clicks on 4th dose?

I'm on my second 2.5mg pen and have just ordered 5mg for next time. I feel ready to go up now and wonder whether it's possible to keep clicking on my 4th use of the 2.5mg pen to up the dosage? Hoping this would act as a half way house between 2.5mg and 5mg and prevent any wastage.

No, not possible. The mechanism will break.

Buy 1ml insulin syringes and dispense that way.

Most take their 4th dose as standard, guidance is to take the 4 doses when starting any new dose, then you can take the remaining as your 5th week, there is usually more than the standard dose so that acts as a bridge to the next dose.
From 6 pens I've used the hard twist method, for the others I've used a syringe to extract everything left over also the plunger often breaks now leaving the pen unable to dispense the dose.

As this is your 8-9th (I assume, but at least well over 4), yes you can use the excess liquid to increase your last dose to more than 2.5mg.

But ideally you will need a syringe to reliably extract (hard twist does not work all the time now) and you will need to calculate the ml you need to use for the mg dose you want.
