Struggling getting Mounjaro from Medino Pharmacy advice please

Hi,

I purchased my first lot of Mounjaro from Medino on Monday and I hadn't heard anything back. Understandably, most places don't work bank holidays, so I emailed them today. Very swiftly I got a response apologising and saying it would be sent for review straight away. I have just had an email from the pharmacist saying she cannot access my full medical records and I have to do it and send them in. I don't have an issue with this in principle, but I know that no one else I know has had this. Is this normal? Can anyone advise where else I could try if this is going to take forever. I don't mind doing an interview, sharing stats etc but I didn't realise they would need them. I'm a bit unsure and concerned, are they able to store them? I don't want personal and sensitive information floating about. Thank you.

I’ve never had a pharmacy ask to access my full medical records. There are lots of other pharmacies, you can find a list at https://monj.co.uk . I’ve used Asda, Zava and Pharmacy2U without any issues and without having to provide access to my medical records. I’d just cancel and try somewhere else tbh.

Op have you declared a medical condition? This could be the reason. However I'd just go with med express as they give £40 off first orders and I had none of this faff. But then I have no medical conditions to declare.

Thanks to you both. I will have a look at where you describe. I declared asthma.

I’ve never had a pharmacy ask either.
I’ve used Zava, IQ Doctor & Simple online pharmacy. As above definitely check monj,
Even with the £40 medexpress are not the cheapest and seem to be having a lot of complaints about how long it’s taking to get medication lately so I would avoid them.

I’m with Medino OP and never had to provide medical records, not sure why they’re asking you. I’m on my 4th month with them and they’ve been really good, at the low end of providers price wise and deliver within 24 hours and always available if I have questions. Hope you get it sorted out and good luck on your’ weight loss journey

Are you in Scotland Op? I have just received the same message from Medino, I have looked into it and apparently many suppliers have access to you NHS care summary records providing your in England. I have asked them to cancel my order as I think it’s going to be a right hassle , trying to get a copy from Gp

Elsiedarlingputthekettleon · 28/05/2025 20:28

I am not in Scotland, no. I ordered from Simple if anyone has any feedback about them? Photos only for now. Discount code brought it to £113 I think. There was no dicount for me with Medexpress as I was not a new customer and there was a red warning issue of a delay of up to 7 days. Thanks again to all who have commented. X

I’ve ordered from simple, They were very quick processing my first order with them but it wasn’t my first MJ order. If you email them a screenshot from the cheapest supplier’s website (inc discount) they will price match as long as the supplier has stock. The emails were responded to very quickly too, which made a nice change.

Have read good things about SOP. If you go to the subreddit mounjarouk and search for the name, you'll see loads of feedback!
