Patches rather than MJ for holiday

I'm going to Asia for a month in the summer. I'll inject on the day I leave, but I don't want to take my pens with me as I am not convinced they will stay at the right temp whilst traveling from one destination to another.
Can anyone recommend patches that I should use for three weeks whilst away. By the time I go away I should be at a 'maintaining' stage rather than wanting to lose weight.

I've heard that berberine supplements are good for suppressing appetites and sugar cravings. I'll probably try them one day when i come off mounjaro, will taper down and stay on a low dose for a while first. Read some reviews to see how you feel.

The GLP1 patches that i have seen on social media don't have GLP1 in them if that is what you mean? Tbh I don't know how they get away with advertising them as such.

You can buy special insulin pen carriers which keep the pen cold if you decide to take it.

SilenceInside · 28/05/2025 16:33

I think I’d rather buy a cooling case and take my medication with me. The “GLP1 patches” are an absolute rip off, they contain a tiny amount of berberine and there’s no evidence that applying a tiny amount of berberine to your skin does anything at all. You’d be better buying some berberine tablets if you want to try them.

Patches are snake oil. Don’t waste your money.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 28/05/2025 21:47

You can get a cool box for your MJ.

The patches are nonsense. Don't waste your money.

KumquatHigh · 29/05/2025 07:31

I’d either take it later when you get home after the month of take it with you. Introducing something else just seems unnecessarily difficult.

Everyothernamewasalreadyinuse · 29/05/2025 12:34

The patches are a load of nonsense and have no active glp1 in them. The only way they could work is if you used them to stick your mouth shut. Complete waste of money.

KentishMama · 30/05/2025 08:10

Snake oil, and hopefully they'll get shut down for false advertising soon. I would take a pen and do my best to keep it cool-ish, but once opened, room temperature is fine for 30 days.

My pens survived being at 4600 metres in the Andes followed by the desert. I think they are fine as long as they don’t freeze or go above 30c. I think taking a break can be problematic if you intend to stay on them long term. I’ve found travelling on mj to be a complete revelation!
